Welcome back from Spring Break everyone! I hope you all enjoyed yourselves whether you were away or just chilling out at home. Here at the Greyhound, we had some stories to share and some ups and downs of our week and break!
Thumbs Up: Kegs & Eggs Rally. Rally is always a good time for students at Loyola where they head down to Powerplant Live! for some
Thumbs Down: Dan’s car is dead. Our Ops editor Dan had an unfortunate mishap over his spring break. His vehicle has kicked the bucket, and he is now back at school with no car. Honestly, quite tragic.
Thumbs Up: Loyola Men’s Lax. Loyola’s men’s lacrosse team beat Navy on Saturday 18-5 and Pat Spencer ’19 had four goals and four assists, becoming the school’s all time leader in points. Congrats, Pat!
Thumbs Down: Rooming and Registration. This week begins registration for all things next year. Whether it is for housing or what classes you are going to take, it is decision time. This has been particularly stressful for me, and I hope everyone else gets the housing and classes they want!
Thumbs Up: Some Greyhound texting fun. So at the end of our meeting today, one of our editors got a text from a number they didn’t have. Things escalated quite quickly and let’s just say, before you go texting that guy you were talking to on Tinder, make sure he actually gave you the right number. And if someone tells you that you have the wrong number, don’t try to make a friend out of it. It was definitely a “had to be there moment”, but I am grateful for the laughs this staff brings me!
Have a great week everyone and try not to stress!
