Loyola celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2025 during its 172nd Commencement. This ceremony took place on Saturday, May 17, at CFG Bank Arena.
The weekend’s festivities began with the traditional Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, May 16, held on Loyola’s Evergreen campus. The service offered graduates and their families a moment of reflection and gratitude before the formal commencement proceedings.
Saturday’s ceremony brought together students, families, faculty and alumni to recognize the academic accomplishments, personal growth and Jesuit values that define a Loyola education.
The keynote address was delivered by McKenzie Coan, a four-time Paralympic gold medalist, world champion swimmer, disability rights advocate and Loyola alumna. Coan spoke about resilience, purpose and the power of community in shaping both personal and professional success.
