The Loyola University Maryland Dance Company held its spring dance showcase on Saturday and Sunday at McManus Theater.
The event contained several student performances in different genres, such as ballet, modern, tap, and more. Carissa Cordero, a senior officer of the Loyola Dance Company, proclaims that it’s a great place for artistry to be put on stage.
“Dance company at Loyola is really special because we really have created a community where dancers of all different experience levels can come and be creative. I think not only within the dance company there’s a sense of community, but it’s also so awesome to have support from the greater Loyola community,” Cordero said.
