On Thursday, March 10, Behati Prinsloo and Adam Levine announced that they are expecting their first child together. The Victoria’s Secret model, 26, and Maroon 5 singer, 36, were married back in July of 2014, and have apparently had babies on their minds since their wedding day. USA Today reported that shortly after their nuptials, Levine joked that “he’d have 100 kids,” during an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

Rumors about the alleged couple circulated around the media for weeks during the summer of 2012, and the couple was spotted out several times after that, oftentimes engaging in a little PDA. On Oct. 24 of the same year, Prinsloo and Levine became “red carpet official,” during the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in NYC.

In May of 2013, rumors about the couple splitting started swirling, but they announced their engagement in July of the same year. Levine gushed about his proposal to Prinsloo during a visit to the “Live! With Kelly & Michael Show.” He explained that no matter how confident a person thinks they are, when they get down on their knee to propose to their significant other it can be very nerve racking. “I’m a confident person, but I got on that knee and everything changed immediately. I lost my equilibrium. I had to get on the other one.” Their chemistry continued to radiate on Nov. 13, 2013, when Adam Levine eagerly supported his soon-to-be wife as she walked the stage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Prinsloo and Levine were married on July 19, 2014 in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico, and the rest is history. Fans will continue to watch on eagerly as the couple’s excitement continues to grow closer to the due date.
