The Recording Academy’s annual Grammy Awards, or ‘Music’s Biggest Night’ is on its way, with a full list of performers and awards for another year of unforgettable music recognition.
The 68th annual Grammy Awards will be hosted on Sunday, Feb. 1, by comedian Trevor Noah at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Although only a few awards are televised, there are 95 categories of awards in various genres including pop, rap, country, and rock, making it a night that celebrates all aspects of music and its contributors.
Last year’s award show was full of record-breaking wins. At the 2025 awards, Beyoncé won her first ever Album of the Year award with ‘Cowboy Carter’ and Kendrick Lamar had a clean sweep with five wins, including Song of the Year with his hit single, ‘Not Like Us.’
This year, the Recording Academy introduces a new category, Best Album Cover, to not only celebrate the music itself, but the art that accompanies a body of work.
There are four major categories that will be televised during the award show and are highly anticipated: Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
The Best New Artist Category is for new artists who had their breakout moment in the last year. Those nominees include:
- Olivia Dean
- KATSEYE
- The Marías
- Addison Rae
- sombr
- Leon Thomas
- Alex Warren
- Lola Young

“[The nomination] means everything to us. Our goal as Katseye is to make a valuable impact in music and in culture so being nominated for Best New Artist is just so surreal… it means that we’re working towards this goal of ours,” Skiendiel said.
According to a poll conducted on The Greyhound Instagram, 38% of viewers think Olivia Dean will take home the award on Sunday.
Record of the Year celebrates chart-topping singles from the past year and those nominees are:
- ‘DtMF’ by Bad Bunny
- ‘Manchild’ by Sabrina Carpenter
- ‘Anxiety’ by Doechii
- ‘WILDFLOWER’ by Billie Eilish
- ‘Abracadabra’ by Lady Gaga
- ‘Luther’ by Kendrick Lamar and SZA
- ‘The Subway’ by Chappell Roan
- ‘APT.’ by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars
For Record of the Year, 23% The Greyhound viewers predict ‘Subway’ by Chappell Roan will win.
Song of The Year, not to be confused with Record of The Year, also celebrates those hit-singles, but also shines a light on the songwriters that make it happen. The nominees include:
- ‘DtMF’ by Bad Bunny
- ‘Manchild’ by Sabrina Carpenter
- ‘Anxiety’ by Doechii
- ‘WILDFLOWER’ by Billie Eilish
- ‘Abracadabra’ by Lady Gaga
- luther by Kendrick Lamar and SZA
- ‘Golden’ by HUNTR/X, from K-Pop Demon Hunters
- ‘APT.’ by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars
According to the poll, 20% of viewers predict ‘Golden’ by HUNTR/X will take home the Grammy.
On ‘CBS Mornings,’ ROSÉ told Vladimir Duthiers she is still coming to terms with her growing success, including her Grammy nominations.
“I just think [this nomination] is definitely at the top of things that I thought would never,ever, ever really, realistically, honestly happen,” ROSÉ said.
Album of The Year, often presented last due to anticipation, highlights albums from the last year that made a mark. The nominees are:
- ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS’ by Bad Bunny
- ‘SWAG’ by Justin Bieber
- ‘Man’s Best Friend’ by Sabrina Carpenter
- ‘Mayhem’ by Lady Gaga
- ‘Let God Sort ‘Em Out’ by Clipse, Pusha T, and Malice
- ‘GNX’ by Kendrick Lamar
- ‘MUTT’ by Leon Thomas
- ‘CHROMAKOPIA’ by Tyler the Creator
The poll shows that 30% of Greyhound viewers predict that ‘DeBí TiRAR MáS FOToS’ by Bad Bunny will take home the biggest award of the night.
Aside from the awards, The Grammys are all about the performances that take place.
For starters, the award show will pay tribute to musicians who have recently passed. Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark, and Lukas Nelson will participate, followed by Ms. Lauryn Hill who will be performing a tribute to R&B legends D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. A special tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will also be performed, featuring Post Malone, Slash and Andrew Watt.
Following tradition, all eight Best New Artist Nominees will be performing during the main show as well.
