This morning, the following email was sent out to the university via the PM Evergreen system:
“On Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at approximately 11 p.m., the Loyola department of public safety was made aware of a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the east side of the 5000 block of York Road. Baltimore City Police responded to the scene. No member of the Loyola community was involved in this incident, and there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the campus.
Loyola’s department of public safety would like to remind the community to remain aware of your surroundings at all times. Baltimore City Police and Loyola public safety have increased their patrols of the area.
Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call Baltimore City police at 911 or Loyola campus police at X 5911.”
