Up-and-coming artist, MAX, released his brand new EP titled, “Ms. Anonymous” last Friday, September 25. The EP features four tracks, including his hit single “Gibberish” (feat. Hoodie Allen) and “Ms. Anonymous” (feat. Jared Evan), which was also on his debut album “Nothing Without Love,” released earlier this year. MAX shows off his trademark falsetto in the two remaining songs, “You’re Not That Girl” and “Hotel Confidential” (feat. Sira). This EP explores the all too relatable experiences of falling in and out of love and everything in between. Fans excitedly await the release of the “Ms. Anonymous” music video, which is said to be coming out in the next few weeks.
MAX’s road to stardom began back in 2012 when he entered the world of Hollywood as an actor. He starred as the lead role in the Nickelodeon movie “Rags” and was also a main character in the musical series, “How to Rock.” He then moved on to more mature roles, starring in the NBC series “Crisis” (2014) and in the movie “Love & Mercy” (2014).
MAX is probably most commonly known for the musical covers he has done on YouTube in collaboration with YouTube sensation Kurt Schneider. Together, they have covered countless songs with artists such as Sam Tsui, Victoria Justice and Savannah Outen, all with their own unique twists.
Having been recently signed to DCD2 Records under Pete Wentz, MAX spent last summer on the Boys of Zummer Tour, opening at arenas all over the country, alongside Hoodie Allen, Whiz Khalifa and Fall Out Boy. This fall, he is set to head out on his headlining tour “Sounds Like Gibberish” with special guests Kenzie Nimmo and Call Me Karizma. MAX will be hitting the road on October 6, starting the tour in Tucson, AZ. VIP Packages are available and include an acoustic pre-performance, a VIP laminate and a signed poster. In addition, the first 50 fans to purchase a t-shirt at each venue are guaranteed a free meet and greet.
