Senior year is a time of many firsts and many lasts, and for many of Loyola’s class of 2018 there is still a laundry list of things left to be done before graduation comes in May. After talking to many current Loyola University Seniors here is a complete list of 30 necessary things you MUST do before you leave Loyola’s campus in the Spring.
- Visit Annapolis for the weekend

- Go to the Preakness Cup
- See a live music performance in Baltimore
- Climb to the top of Federal Hill
- Eat at Belvedere Square
- “Definitely see an O’s Game” – Paul Klapp ’18
- Participate in a York Road Initiative Day
- Ride the Inner Harbor Water Taxi
- Eat at Miss Shirley’s
- Try an OAE Trip
- Explore Hampden; go to Hapmden Fest
- Get tacos to Barcocina
- Explore Baltimore’s unique and diverse neighborhoods like Canton
- “Go to Slainte’s Irish pub in Fells Point.” – Paul Klapp ‘18
- Do the haunted Fell’s Point bar crawl
- Take the MARC train to DC
- Get ice cream at the Charmery in Hampden
- “Go to the top of the Baltimore World Trade Center.” – Justin DeMarco ‘18
- Explore the Mount Vernon District
- Go to the Baltimore National Aquarium
- Go to the Loyola Retreat House in Western Maryland
- See a movie at the Senator on York Road
- Roam the Baltimore art district
- “Visit Baltimore’s main attractions such as the American Visionary Museum and Fort McHenry.” – Amy Swartz ‘18
- See Graffiti Alley
- “Go to the Baltimore Zoo.” – Justin DeMarco ‘18
- Go to PaperMoon Diner
- “Eat at Clark Burger one last time.” – Paul Klapp ’18
So regardless of if you’re leaving Baltimore or if you’ll be hanging around, be sure that you explore all Baltimore truly has to offer before you walk across that stage in May
