Interested in writing for Loyola’s school paper, The Greyhound? We’re looking for reporters!
The Greyhound is looking for inspired and creative students to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year! Overall, we are looking for eager writers to contribute to our community. Experience is not required, and meetings are held every Monday.
Required Elements for Articles:
- Title
- Reporter name
- At least 500 words
- No more than 1300 words
- At least 4 quotes – exceptions can be made
- Photo and photographer credit
- Social media tease
Opinion Guidelines:

Opinion pieces should take a position and have a message

We advise addressing a counterargument

Profanity outside of quotations is prohibited
- We aim not to publish duplicates or opinions that are too similar to another

Letters to the Editor are allowed and will go under the Opinion tab. They are not curated or edited by editors like Op-Eds as they are coming from faculty and community members. They are, however, limited to 250 words or half-page single-spaced.
