Well hello everyone and welcome back to another installment of what went right and wrong in the lives of your editorial board this week! We love doing check-ins, talking about our ups and downs, and sharing them with all of you lovely people. So, here we go!

Thumbs Up: Netflix replaced old movies with new ones in time for the spooky season! That’s right, Netflix has rid itself of some classics we all loved but added Halloween favorites in their place! If you love Halloween movies or scary things in general, go take a look!

Thumbs Down: News and Video Editor Stefan is 21, but no one believes him. Our beloved editor Stefan had a rough weekend here in Balti where a bouncer at Cross Bar bent and creased his real ID. Yes, friends, real IDs can break and bend too. If a bouncer ever does this to your real ID, you should honestly call the cops. Especially if they try to confiscate it. Well, Stefan went up to a nearby Baltimore Police officer and what happened? The cop didn’t believe that it was real either and basically told him to go away. Classic. So even once you are actually 21, no one believes you and will still question you and bend your ID? Cool cool.

Thumbs Up: Family Weekend. For those who had parents or siblings come to Loyola for Family Weekend, I am happy for you. Mine couldn’t sadly, so I was orphaned, but according to those who did have family come, it was “wholesome” as Arts Editor Matty would say. I hope everyone enjoyed their free lunches and dinners and for those who are seniors, I hope your last ever Family Weekend was one to remember!

Thumbs Down: It is going to be a scorcher on Wednesday. So, I thought fall was supposed to be about cute sweaters and pumpkin spice drinks and leaves. This year, it has been far from it. With this being the first week of October, you would think it would be chilly. Nope. Wednesday is supposed to be in the 90s. Like, what? Is fall coming? Is this eternal summer? Will girls ever get to wear their cute sweaters? Will the pumpkin spice not overheat you from the inside out? We shall see.

Thumbs Up: The Greyhound has some great things coming up! This week, we will be releasing some cool videos! The Greyhound E Board did a taste testing of the new Fresh West Sunset and Crafted food stations on campus, and we are excited to show you our thoughts! Stay tuned!
