Students gathered at Reitz Arena on Friday, April 4, to attend BSA’s 26th Annual Fashion Show: “Cities of Soul.”
The event showcased multiple scenes inspired by some of the nation’s most iconic cities, including New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, and of course, closing with Baltimore. Each scene paid homage to the unique style and culture of the cities, with vibrant fashions that captivated the student body.
This fashion show wasn’t just about the outfits, it also featured a carefully curated playlist and meticulously choreographed dances, further amplifying both the production and the audience’s engagement.
Continuing a long-standing tradition, the Loyolapalooza performer for this year, Aminè, was announced before the closing scene.
Yamil Hernandez ’25, a model in the show, reflected on the event.
“The BSA Fashion Show helped me feel at ease in my own skin, develop confidence, and own my identity. When I stepped on that stage, it felt like that’s where I was meant to be- the community feels like home.”
