On Friday, March 14, the first-ever campus weather report was recorded by Tali Hayes with WLOY.
The report marked the launch of SkyHounds Weather Forecast, a new student-led group dedicated to gathering data and discussing the impact of weather on the Evergreen campus. Going forward, SkyHounds will deliver biweekly weather reports on WLOY, keeping students informed and prepared.
SkyHound Weather Forecast reporter Tali Hayes ‘27, shares more about the group’s mission and goals.
“Our goal is to share the weather with other students on campus so they can be well prepared and well dressed for any upcoming weather conditions.”
Students interested in joining SkyHounds can get involved by contacting Professor Molly Robey by email or reaching out to Hayes directly.
