At 3:41 p.m. on Nov. 14, Greyhound Alerts were sent to Loyola members of a report of a shooting that occurred at the Royal Farms located at 206 W. Coldspring Lane, which is nearby Newman Towers. The victim who is a male not affiliated with Loyola was shot in the parking lot of the Royal Farms.
CBS News reported the victim was a 47-year-old man who suffered gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive according to the Baltimore City Police.
According to Greyhound Alerts and WBALTV, the suspects fled the crime scene in an unknown direction, driving a newer Gray Grand Cherokee with black rims and no front tag.
An active investigation was conducted by the Baltimore City Police, which led to traffic on Coldspring Lane being diverted to Linkwood Rd.. As of 7 p.m., the shooting investigation was cleared by Baltimore Police.
Investigators with the Baltimore City Police have confirmed this was a targeted incident.
So far, no arrests have been made related to the shooting.
